A former player in Major League Soccer with Kansas City Wizards and USL First Division Minnesota Thunder and Charleston Battery. Chris was drafted by MLS in the 2002 Super Draft as the 37th overall pick. Prior to turning pro Chris enjoyed an outstanding college career at Missouri State University where he set a school record for 67 starts in 68 games and finished fifth in all-time career points(53) and goals (20). He also ranks fourth in Missouri State history in scoring game winners (8). Chris earned Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) All-Conference honors three times and was selected to the MVC All-Newcomers team his freshman year. A Native of Omaha NE Chris was selected to represent the United States in International Competition while playing for MLS Project 40 squad in Holland and Germany. Chris joins the Legends Club after serving as the U17 Boys Head Coach at Shattuck St. Mary’s where he coached current MLS players Teal Bunbury (Sporting Kansas City) and Ben Sippola (Columbus Crew). |
